In most cases the line from the house out to the public sewer belongs to the property owner. If you are not sure where your line ends, ask when you call.
Why does my drain keep clogging?
A clog that keeps coming back usually has a cause further down the line: roots, a low spot where water and waste sit, or heavy build-up. Clearing it again only buys time. A camera inspection shows which one it is.
Should I use a chemical drain cleaner?
It can loosen a light clog, but it rarely clears a heavy one, and it sits in the pipe if the drain stays blocked. If you have already poured some in, tell us when you call so we can work safely.
