For a new line, tell us which appliance it is for and where it will go. For a repair, tell us where you noticed the smell or the sound, and whether the utility has already been out.

Natural gas has an odour added to it that smells like rotten eggs or sulphur, so a leak is easy to notice. If you smell it, leave first and call from outside.
Does the gas company fix leaks?
The utility responds to leak reports and makes the area safe. Repairs to the piping on your side of the meter are usually the property owner’s job, and that is where we come in.
