Plan the plumbing early, including additions
Most remodel surprises are plumbing surprises: a drain that cannot move where the drawing shows it, or old pipe that needs replacing once the wall is open. A plumbing walkthrough before demolition catches most of this.
Plumbing changes in a remodel usually need a permit and an inspection before the walls close. We will tell you what your job needs.
Bring your layout or your contractor’s drawing if you have one. A photo of the room as it is today helps too.
Adding a half bath or a small bathroom
A new bathroom needs a water supply, a drain that can reach the main line with the right slope, and a vent. Where the new room sits relative to the existing drain lines decides most of the work. We look at that first, then give you a price for the plumbing.

No. Parker does the plumbing only. We work alongside your contractor or tile installer, and we can talk to them directly about the plan.
Can you move a toilet or a drain?
Often, yes. It depends on the floor, the joists and where the main drain runs. We check this on the walkthrough, before anything is torn out.
When should I call you?
Before demolition. Drain and water line moves are easiest to plan before the other trades start.
